  My Heart is

I was in church 9 months before I was born and have been in church ever since. Jesus become my Savior and Lord at Grace Baptist Church, Canyon, TX.

I am an American Christian from TX!

My mom and dad say that I have always been a character, so I have tried to use my sense of humor in every aspect of life to lighten people's load and get them to at least smile.

I have used humor in every job I have ever had. I have taught Driver's Education, Defensive Driving, First Aid, CPR, Basic Emergency Medical Technican, Sunday School, and Youth Group. I was a parametic for 5 years and while working at Cal Farley's Boys Ranch I performed my first Christian Comedy in 1996 and knew if I could get those kids laughing that God had a place for me in the ministry of humor.

Since then I have performed for women’s groups, youth groups, churches, chapels,
children’s ministries, vacation Bible schools, Army groups, and just about everyone else I could hog tie and make listen to me.

Humor has helped me get through some of the toughest times in my life…thank the Lord. He gave me a husband who has a sense of humor too.
I got married on May 29, 1999 and three months later started to have health problems. August ’99 I had abdominal surgery then 2 days later herniated 2 discs in my lower back. October ’99 developed a blood clot that went from my belly button to my left heel. I almost lost my leg at the hip and my life.
January ’00 ended up in ICU to try to dissolve more of the blood clot and was told to get used to the pain because there was no more that they could do for me.

April ’00 I had a miscarriage then in September of ’00 underwent a total hysterectomy.
If that were not enough my mother-in-law and I were involved in a head-on collision and my left shoulder was dislocated.
February ’01 Terry, my husband, went active duty in the Army again and we moved to Heidelberg, Germany.
May ’02 we moved to Babenhausen, Germany. (Home is where the Army sends you!)
August ’02 went back to the States to have a surgical procedure done on my back. God was so good in heeling me through modern medicine and for the first time in 3 years I was narcotic painkiller free!
Then in Nov ‘02 I went to the Protestant Women of the Chapel’s European Worship and Study Retreat and did God have a plan for me in mind.
I was able to perform some comedy and had 500 women laughing till they cried. Afterward I had offers to travel all over Europe sharing with military, spouses, kids, and anyone who showed up the love of our Lord.
I traveled all over Germany to bases and had a 10 day tour of England bases. I was even featured in the Stars and Stripes Newspaper.
Dec ‘03 we moved back to the states and are stationed at Ft Sill, OK.
I am involved with our PWOC at Ft Sill. Involved with the choir, youth, and kids at First Baptist Church East of Lawton, OK. And am praying that the Lord will open doors for me to share with soldiers, families, civilians, kiddos, youth, anyone who will listen a laugh, a tear, a smile, but mostly the hope we have in Jesus Christ!

I have had joys unspeakable and depression almost unbearable.
I have been thrilled at the births of nieces and nephews yet mourned my own loss of our child.
I have lived in devastating pain 24/7 and felt divine healing.
I have dealt with my past and realized hope for the future.
I have met people who are hurting, who are lonely; who are in need of a good laugh and that is why I believe God has called me to this ministry. I not only can minister through comedy I can also motivate people in life to realize that God wants us to have life more abundant and not to just exist.

I have been in around Christians all my life and have noticed something…we need to laugh more! I truly believe that if we can not look like God has saved us from something, this ol’ world is not going to be interested in what we have to say.
